Short or over-powered catapult elastics accelerate the bait load too fast and increase spread significantly. These sections of latex provide a long, slow, powerful acceleration for maximum distance and minimum spread. Natural latex has a unique power and elasticity but has a limited lifespan and should be replaced regularly.

Guru - Square Pear Bomb Lead

£3.25

What’s more, the dumpy, compact shape makes for the best bolt-rig effect possible, meaning that you’ll hook more fish than with conventional leads. Because these leads are a little heavier than many used for match or pleasure fishing they are particularly effective at counteracting the drag effect of a PVA bag as it flies through the air. The Square leads are finished in with a coating that’s been formulated to match the lakebed found in most commercial venues.

Korda - Solidz PVA Bags

£3.99

A range of fast-dissolve PVA bags, made from top-grade pH neutral PVA film. Supplied with a free loader, four sizes available.

Korda - Original Funnel Web 5m Refill

£6.50

Funnelweb's main function is to create a PVA bag of any size in the shortest time possible - bags can be made in less than 30 seconds, leaving any other system for dust. Funnel Web minimises wasted PVA making it the most cost-effective PVA bag system ever made. If you are not using it in your carp fishing, you're missing out! Once you have used all your PVA you should not throw away your system. Simply buy a Funnel Web refill pack and thread on another 5m or 10m. The refills are available in Hexmesh or Micromesh when youre using tiny baits in 5m or 20m lengths. Each refill is colour coded to match the correct PVA system.

ESP - PVA Tape 15 x 9mm
