Gardner - HD-Floater Line Clear 250m

HD-Floater Line has been specially developed as a specialist floater line as it maintains its buoyancy without requiring any additional treatments to keep it floating. Incredibly, this very special main line also offers the perfect stretch characteristics for floater fishing; having reduced stretch for the best possible reaction and line pick up when striking, whilst still offering just enough give to help keep small hooks in place during protracted battles on balanced tackle.

Incredibly, this very special main line also offers the perfect stretch characteristics for floater fishing; having reduced stretch for the best possible reaction and line pick up when striking, whilst still offering just enough give to help keep small hooks in place during protracted battles on balanced tackle.

HD-Floater line has a low reflection finish to reduce visibility across a range of light conditions, available in Low-viz Clear and Low-viz Green. If the carp you’re fishing for are acutely aware of lines then this obviously offers distinct advantages in terms of maintaining a covert presence whilst angling.

Smooth finish and soft feel enables easy casting with small lightweight controller floats.
HD-Floater is supplied on 250m level wound spools which ensure the line is pristine when spooled up.
Available in 3 breaking strains/diameters: 10lb/0.29mm, 12lb/0.31mm and 15lb/0.33mm.

Korda - Pear Swivel Leads

£1.80

The classic pear lead will cast a very very long way, almost as far as the Distance Casting and it is less affected by cross winds because the shape is very condensed. This means that the Pear lead is suited to most carp fishing situations when fishing anything up to the very limit of your casting ability. The dumpy shape can be used to your advantage in silt. Try using a very light pear lead say 1oz or 2oz and actually let the lead plug into the silt, this will dramatically increase the resistance to a carp moving away with the rig, so what feels like a light lead in your hand is transformed into a heavy lead in the fishing situation. Because the lead has a large rounded end it makes 'feeling' the lead hit the bottom easier than more slender or pointed shapes. If you are new to this technique this lead will make the job easier.
