We have developed these groundbaits in conjunction with some of the best silver fish anglers in the UK including Des Shipp, Lee Kerry, Steve Saunders, Mick Vials, Michael Buchwalder & Will Freeman.
We took a fresh look at the market and decided to produce four new groundbaits all of which could be mixed straight from the bag or mixed with the others in the range to tailor a groundbait for a specific day on a specific venue.
River : A heavy mix with strong binding properties means it is perfect for using on the feeder or balling in on rivers. Being heavy will ensure that it goes straight to the bottom before breaking up. It is a slow acting dormant mix that is ideal for carrying other baits such as chopped worm and casters to the bottom or it can be added to other groundbaits to make them heavier and bind better for fishing in faster flow or deeper water.
Lake : A very versatile groundbait this can be used on the pole or feeder. It is quite active especially when mixed on the dry side ensuring continuous action. Perfect for all silverfish in lakes. When freshly mixed the groundbait and its particles come out of the feeder easily creating a good bed of bait and with the inclusion of lots of hemp, coconut and coriander this is the perfect combination for roach and skimmers on natural lakes.
Bream : A golden groundbait perfect for bream, skimmers and hybrids. It can be mixed up straight from the bag for use on a feeder or balling in on the pole. It has a high feed content including breadcrumb, ground maize, molasses meal and milled tiger nuts for sweetness.
Black Bream : So Natural Black Bream is a dark coloured groundbait perfect for bream, skimmers and hybrids. It can be mixed up straight from the bag for use on a feeder or balling in on the pole. It has a high feed content including breadcrumb, ground maize, molasses meal and milled tigernuts for sweetness.
Crushed Hemp : Crushed Hemp is 100% crushed hemp seed, the perfect addition to any groundbait where you want to add hemp or texture to make it perform differently. Being quite a coarse texture, it helps groundbaits break up quicker as it doesn’t bind, so you can loosen sticky groundbaits by adding up to 50%. Unlike other crushed hemp seed we have milled it in a way which means much less bit’s float, so although it creates an active mix all the activity stays around the feeder rather than drifting off. Full of natural oils and attractants it holds fish in your swim for longer.
