The index finger has a double layer of leather to protect your finger when repetitively casting a spod, without impairing the ‘feel’ needed for consistently achieving the required accuracy and distance.
This line was designed for extreme-range casting, but the extra diameter also acts as a robust snag leader. Each tapering leader is 15 metres long, but can be cut down by a maximum of five metres for super-long range, when every last yard counts.

They’re smooth, supple and taper from a low diameter that’s perfect for knotting to line of similar diameter, right up to the thick shockleader end that’ll take the brunt of the biggest casts.
This is a pure fluorocarbon, not just a fluorocarbon coating. It has a specific gravity (SG) of 1.78 which ensures that rigs sink quickly and lie tight to the bottom. An excellent hook link material, particularly effective for wary carp in clear water.
