Korda's Fake Food range now includes pop-up dumbbell hook baits. As with the rest of the range, they differ from plastic hook baits made by other manufacturers as the attractor combinations have been moulded into the plastic during construction, rather than simply soaked in neat flavour, which washes away quickly.
Korda's Fake Food range now includes slow-sinking dumbbell hook baits. As with the rest of the range, they differ from plastic hook baits made by other manufacturers as the attractor combinations have been moulded into the plastic during construction, rather than simply soaked in neat flavour, which washes away quickly.
Korda's first bait floss is the perfect addition to our chod kit. It’s absolutely perfect for tying on pop-ups of all descriptions, especially cork ballers. The floss is flat in profile, which helps it to grip the surface of even the hardest, smoothest pop-ups. Once you’ve tied the bait on, using the knot shown below, simply run a cigarette lighter flame around the floss, which will render it transparent. Each spool holds fifty metres of floss, which will last ages!
The Line Saver Beads are impregnated with tungsten, which will help the naked-chod setup to sit flush with the lake bed, improving a deadly rig even further.
Spare No-Trace beads for the Chod Safety Systems. These beads are key to making the systems the safest rotary-rig ever made.
The Leadcore Chod Safety System is, without doubt, the biggest advance in rotary-rig safety EVER.
The Naked Chod Safety System is, without doubt, the biggest advance in rotary-rig safety EVER.
This beautifully sculpted piece of anodized aluminium is just the thing to help you create the finest chod rigs and stiff rigs imaginable! It features a tapering point to allow you to tease the D-rig into the perfect shape as well as a mushroom cap for tensioning swivel knots, and a recess for forming perfect loops. In fact the tapering diameter of the whole tool can be used to round loops of various sizes. Indispensible for the angler who wants to tie chod rigs like the masters!
Many of today’s most popular rigs involve tying baits on to rings or micro swivels with floss, and this can be far more fiddly than it needs to be. The Floss Cap takes all the hassle out of it, replacing your usual boilie stop – with available colours including clear, yellow and pink, so it can be matched to your bait – and once your hookbait is positioned just how you want it on the rig, you simply slide on a Floss Cap so that it sits flush, and then blob the ends of the floss with a lighter to hold everything in place. Tying baits on has never been so neat and hassle-free!
Plastic hair stops that can be used with almost all baits. They are small enough not to arouse suspicion, and are now made in clear plastic, which makes them yet harder to see for wary carp.
The backleads can be set to stay on the main line without dropping off or they can be set so that the backlead breaks apart when snagged in weed. The super-slick plastic attachment ensures that the backlead will glide easily down the line, dramatically decreasing the chance of movement at the rig end. Backleads are most effective over even, flat bottoms and are an excellent way of preventing a hooked fish from picking up your other lines.
