ESP Fusion Booms Combi Rig, fused fluorocarbon hooklink booms with a breaking strain of over 30lb and come dead straight out of the packet. The 0.5mm diameter fluorocarbon is super stiff and pushes the hookbait away from the lead at full extension to optimise the bolt rig effect and hooking potential. The stiffness of the booms makes them almost impossible to tangle on the cast, but each one is supplied with a Streamliner sleeve to secure the loop to the quick-change swivel at the lead end. These booms comprise a super strong mini rig ring at the business end and are designed to complement the ready tied Combi Loop rigs which are available separately. The combination of these two products creates the perfect combi or ‘flipper’ rig which is a highly effective presentation, especially for bottom baits and wafters. The stiff boom pushes the hookbait away from the lead, while the soft braided loop section allows the hook to flip and prick the bottom lip, resulting in consistently excellent hook holds while also providing a quick-change facility.
