The ESP Tectrix range is available in 10ft and 12ft models, built on lightweight multi modulus carbon blanks that are responsive and well balanced. Designed to cover everything from short to medium range fishing on smaller venues, rivers and canals through to long-range casting and dedicated spod and marker work, the range combines forward actions with quality components and a smart, minimalist finish.
The 10ft models are available in 2.75lb and 3.0lb test curves. At 10ft these multi modulus carbon blanks are lightweight and beautifully balanced, designed for short to medium range fishing or smaller venues, rivers and canals. High quality, lightweight stainless guides from a 40mm butt guide to a 12mm tip are critically spaced for optimum distance casting and accuracy. The forward actions provide serious reserves of power and excellent shock absorption at close range.
The 12ft range includes 3.25lb, 3.5lb and a 4.5lb Spod & Marker rod. Built on matt black multi modulus carbon blanks, they are responsive and well balanced, with lightweight stainless guides in a long-range ringing pattern from a 50mm butt guide to a 16mm tip. The forward action provides excellent casting mechanics while still retaining great fish playing shock absorption. The 3.25lb is a great all-rounder while the 3.5lb provides excellent long-range performance. The Spod & Marker rod works best with a Midi or Midi X Spomb where 6–8oz provides optimum compression for long range.
Across the range, features include a DPS reel seat, full shrink rubber handle with an ergonomic casting grip, a moulded ESP line clip and a smart matt black finish. All rods also include a pair of padded rod socks to provide additional protection in transit.
